ANDY'S ANSWER: Pubic hair is a normal development of puberty and is meant to protect your genital area. If your public hair is sticking out of the sides of your bathing suit, you can trim it with scissors, but you should not be shaving that area because it is very easy to get an infection. Leave it alone. It's supposed to be there.
