Can you swim while on your period?

ANDY'S ANSWER: Yes, you can swim while having your period. Most girls wear a tampon, but even if  you don't, your  period will stop while you are in the water. Just make sure that if you do not wear a tampon, that as soon as you get out of the water, you put a pad back on or your period will soon start to leak out again.
